4.6.3 E-mail

You must turn Notification to ‘On’ and then enter the host names or addresses for your

mail servers in the fields provided to enable the sending of event and error email

messages from the V992D-IR to predefined addresses via SMTP.

NOTE 1)

Frequency: Mail server may register the sender to SPAM list if frequency is set to

“1 Min”. To be safe, it may be better to set “5 Min”.

NOTE 2)

From: Specify the name that sent e-mail notification. It may be better to use e-mail

format like [email protected], as some e-mail servers refuse certain formats.
